Is KazaKit only for game development?

No. Games are one supported project type, but KazaKit also supports writing, film, television, music, podcasts, photography, video, software, websites, campaigns, courses, comics, theater, design systems, and mixed creative work.

Does KazaKit require an internet connection?

The core product is local-first and does not depend on cloud sync. Some external support or website links naturally require internet access.

What is the difference between Quick Notes and Project Wiki pages?

Quick Notes are for rough capture. Project Wiki pages are for information worth organizing and returning to over time.

What is the difference between Moodboards and Workshop?

Moodboards are for visual and conceptual shaping. Workshop is for committed, trackable execution.

What is the difference between Studio Docs and Project Wiki pages?

Studio Docs apply across the studio. Project Wiki pages belong to one project.

What is the difference between Today and Calendar?

Today prioritizes what deserves attention now. Calendar shows the broader time-based plan.

What is the difference between Activity and Chronicle?

Activity is a recent cross-project feed. Chronicle is a project-specific timeline combining past and future.

Does KazaKit track time?

Yes. Focus sessions can be associated with General work, projects, or work items and contribute to focus statistics and goals.

Does KazaKit track creative output?

Yes, for project types with configured output workflows. Supported examples include words, pages, and minutes.

Can one project use another project’s workflow?

Every project uses the same core Studio structure, while its type adjusts terminology and defaults. A user can also choose Creative Project when no specialized type fits.

Can I change themes, fonts, icons, and language later?

Yes. These are app-wide settings and do not change project content.

Where is my data stored?

KazaKit’s core data and app-managed project files are stored locally by the desktop application. A dedicated backup guide should use the exact supported backup procedure for the distributed build.
